...cricket, cricket...
Yeah, one day, I swear I am going to write again. Maybe this will never be finished though. My liver isn't sure if we
can do it.
Until further notice, PAX REQUIEM is officially over.
I apologise to anyone who may have actually read this tale, mainly for the content. To anyone who may have enjoyed the story,
it still lives on, somewhere. It's just too difficult to do this at the moment, especially with all my other work: Age of
Innocence/music, maintaining the Theatre, my ever increasing research and reading, et cetera.
Adieu. Until we meet again, noda?
Signed,
Yehoshuva,
the Poet,
and the Maestro

Well, there is nothing new posted. That doesn't mean there is nothing new written, but editting... editting!!! There are
actually about three new chapters, but I don't have the chapters to connect them to the current body of work.
Another time, I suppose. I also adjusted the layout of this site, as the old was pissing me off. And now we have the
date in bold on each update entry. Yippie for website construction. There's a reason major companies are willing to pay
someone else top dollar to build their sites - it's mind-numbing and so painful! At least it is on dial-up.

Just added the rest of XVI. To anyone who had read the first portion when it was initially posted a few days ago, there have
been small, but hopefully significant textual changes... a changed word here, a new phrasing there...
Well, there it is.
30 March 2005 [08:41]
So I haven't gotten to posting the end of XVI yet, though my one fan has gotten around to reading the end. I apologise somewhat
for making you wait to see it, but I've always claimed to be a devil of sorts. What can I say? It is in my nature to be
cruel at times.
Ah, but on to tonight's posting... or this morning's posting for those of you pathetic wankers who still live by the light
of the sun. I have, for a long time now thought there should be various notes and additions to different chapters that were
already written, and i am sure that at some point some of these will be added to the actual text.
Until then you can have a chance to look into what I saw and heard (as the author) during certain moments, but was not for
sundry reason able to add at the time.
Much more of the tale has been revealed over time and re-readings, and I am slowly trying to get back to all that has come
forth. I don't suppose much of this matters to any of you... bastards!
Oh yes, and my editor reminded me during his last call that I've reached the end of Cycle 2! Hurray! (Note: I've divided
each Cycle into eight chapter parts, which is why the initial numbering of these chapters was difficult for me. I was more
used to thinking chapter 3, cycle 2... but I guess in the long run this is a better idea.) Like I was saying, HURRAY! I
would say party at my house, but none of you would show up. Not that I would feed or lodge you.
On a shittier note, this means the chapters I had already written that I thought were going in Cycle 3 are not going to be
posted until Cycle 4 or 5. damn it.
Of course, I still have VI and the ending of VIII to get around to... one of this drunken nights. But hey, no one's counting.
Well, I hear the Captain calling, so I am out to sea! Toot Toot!

Well, here it is... one of the long awaited chapters. Now you too can know what Yesaria looks like. For the now I have taken
Jacob's advice and gone with first person perspective. He seems to think this is the most powerful. Honestly, in the swoon
of my Muses it was the voice of the Poet who called out first, so he gets the first say in things. There is a chance I will
have the chapter turn so we can see through the eyes of Yesaria and the daeva-man, who might have a few things to tell us
about what the Poet looks like. *wink wink*
If you all play nice...
P.S. Has anyone else noticed that the chapters have been rolling a bit more quickly along than they have been in a long
time now? Remember when it was weeks or even months before you got another little peek? I can say enforced isolation and
sensory deprevation is good for one thing: it makes the imagination burn like fox-fire. But I suppose that gets into things
that belong on my xangas or on one of my lengthy essays, not here. Just read the freakin' story!

Chapter XV has been added! Hmm, now this begins what will for me be a formidable few chapters. My two main characters will
be meeting (the Poet and Yesaria) with the daeva-man present... and all this will be happening in the Garden! This will make
for some interesting choices, as the Poet's chapters all happen from first-person, but the chapters with Yesaria appear in
third-person. So, who tells the next chapters?
And more importantly, who is ready to sacrifice their life for the greater good? It simply wouldn't be a tragedy unless there
was some untimely death, as it goes.
This and more I shall ponder as the days wane. At this rate, there might just be much more work coming in the near future!
I kind of feel the need to have chapter VI and part 2 of VIII finished before what happens next.
You see, my three characters are going to have to take a little journey soon, and my Poet will have a chance to go back...
ah, but that would ruin the surprise!

Made several corrections to text. I've no idea why, but every time I go in to edit the text, the spacing gets really fucked
up... Not that it matters, I fixed it anyway. Hopefully this time it won't un-fix itself again. Also added the chapter
numbers at the chapter title for each page, and they better all be right, damn it!
Oh, and the part you've been waiting for!
New chapter added! Scroll on down to "Chapter XIV: A Broken Moon, A Falling Star" for the latest in the tale. Some of you
might be wondering where XV is. For whatever reason my muses decided to get all the ingredients together, toss it on the
stove and not turn the heat on. So it's sitting in stasis with Chapter VI.
One tower at a time, right?

Ave! Somehow, you have stumbled upon my writings, which you shall have an opportunity to read and hopefully enjoy here.
This collection of works spans close to a seven year period, during which I have been trying to develop and expand on different
characters, settings and plot lines. I must admit, there have been more than a few long lapses in my writing, with the first
three being written almost one after the other. Over the next two or three years additional chapters were written (or in
some sad cases only started) with the majority of this work coming only in the past years.
The entire work did not even appear to me in proper chronological order. The first five came around the same period, and
the beginning of Chapter VII was written about this time. Then the first few Chapters of the 'Second Cycle' started, with
Chapter VIII being written after this time - et cetera. It has been confusing to me as well, and I pray any content inconsistencies
have been remedied by now.
I apologise beforehand for the arbitrary spacing, which occurred during the organising and printing of some personal copies.
I also apologise for any strange "web errors", for as I was pasting the text on to this site, occasionally different marks
would for some reason change to scrambled jargon, which I have tried to repair. If any is found, feel free to contact me
about correcting it.
Lastly, there are many chapters missing, and this project is on-going, with no clear end of things in sight. Recently I have
started work on "The Myth and War of Nightfall", a sort of pre-history of the current work that has proven itself to be a
larger project than I first took it to be.
